Lance Elrod is a Certified Financial Planner™. In 2010 he graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning. While attending Texas Tech, he was elected president of the Christian fraternity Beta Upsilon Chi (Brother's Under Christ). The New York Times says Texas Tech University has "arguably the best undergraduate financial planning program in the country." Personal financial planning firms look to Texas Tech University for new talent.
Prior to joining Mint Wealth Management, he worked for United Capital Private Wealth Counseling, a California based registered investment advisory firm. During his time with United Capital he worked as a Client Relationship Manager in Bethesda, Maryland, providing financial plans and support for the two Managing Directors. More recently he has worked for Halliburton as a Drilling Fluids Engineer in the Permian Basin, working for companies such as Shell, ConoccoPhillips, Oxy USA, and Pioneer Natural Resources.
Lance currently lives in Cypress with his wife Tessa, and they are proud parents of Landon who was born in December of 2015 and Fischer born in August of 2017. In his free time, he loves spending time with family and enjoys fishing, the beach, and sporting events.
