CEO & Co-Founder
Adam Lampe is the CEO & Co-Founder of Mint Wealth Management. In this role, Adam works with the team in executing the overall strategy of the firm. He directs all the business development efforts across the firm and oversees the development of key strategic client and business partners, and he oversees all marketing & financial efforts of the firm. Adam also leads team of Investment Consultants and Advisor Support Specialists in their efforts to build highly personalized Partnerships with professional money managers dedicated to serving affluent families, high net worth individuals, foundations and institutions. Adam formed Lampe & Son Wealth Management which later became Mint Wealth Management with his father in 2005 and has 14 years of investment experience. In addition to these roles, he is active in many client meetings in which he communicates and fosters relationships with high-net-worth clientele by utilizing eMoney and our comprehensive holistic financial planning approach. Adam also teaches in the evenings at Lone Star College and Prairie View A&M University satellite campuses around the Houston area in courses for retirement planning.
Adam graduated with honors earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University. According to Investopedia, the Texas Tech financial planning program is a Top 5 school in the nation. Financial Planning Magazine’s survey also ranked Texas Tech’s financial planning program as one of the most influential programs in the profession. The readers and the editors of Financial Planning Magazine release a survey to rank the best individuals and programs in the profession. In 2008, Texas Tech was the only doctoral program in financial planning in the country. The program's current doctoral candidates are conducting research in different aspects of financial planning. **(See below for data source).
Adam was named in Texas Monthly Issues as "One of the Best Wealth Managers in Client Satisfaction" for 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. This survey was conducted by an independent company called Crescendo Business Services who specializes in gather data on wealth management.
Adam was appointed and served two three year terms as a public member to the State Bar of Texas Grievance Committee. The State Bar Grievance Committee is a panel of attorneys and public members (non-attorneys). The Grievance Committee is significant to Texas Lawyers and the public insuring rules and moral standards are upheld to the highest standard.
Before forming a firm with his father, he worked at a "fee only" firm who only had 80 clients, but had nearly one billion assets under management. Adam provided the written financial plans to the principals of the firm. He was required to do extensive research for the senior partners and assist in writing the financial plans for the CEOs of various oil companies.
Adam is married to Christa Lampe who works for a major Fortune 500 company called DOW Chemical as a Project Leader. In 2012, Adam and Christa were blessed with their first child Carson Michael Lampe and happy to announce the birth of their daughter Scarlet Kay Lampe in 2015. Adam enjoys spending time with family and friends. Adam is always up for a good fishing, or hunting trip, and any sporting event, but especially Big 12 football. Adam also loves the water and to travel with the family. Adam and his family reside in Towne Lake in Cypress, Texas. He is also active in his community and church.
